Shield Aviator Glasses

Shield Aviator Sunglasses - A Bold Look
Shield aviator glasses express a design innovation of the classic aviator sunglass. Instead of the two thin bars linking the lenses and holding the nose-piece, shield aviators extend the lenses over the nose-piece to create a continuous shield-like lens face. The look is bolder and more modern. Whether to choose these or the classical aviators is largely a matter of preference. For the fashionista wanting to sport a more serious, 'runway' look, the shield version is perhaps the way to go.
These sunglasses are undoubtedly popular with celebs. With the little extra bit of lens covering the face, they do provide that little extra degree of privacy, true. But maybe celebs just like them because they look so cool. Yes, could be.
Shield aviator sunglasses also do come in different stylized versions. Some essentially come as a single sheet of lens extending across the face giving a very smooth, glassy and cool look. Others have a distinct separator in the middle making them slightly more traditional in style, without being completely so. Combine these structural differences with different lens shapes, lens colors and temple designs, and you suddenly have endless variations on the theme to choose from. What fun!
